"Joanna photographed our September 2023 wedding at West Point in NY, and we would recommend her wholeheartedly. We first contacted Joanna after seeing her work on Instagram and Zola, and we really connected to the candidness and quality of her photography. We weren’t fans of traditional, super-posed and highly edited wedding photography. We were looking for a wedding photographer with a relaxed style that’s both modern and timeless. Joanna was all of the above and her photography perfectly highlights real love and connection between two people. Our wedding package with Joanna included an engagement shoot which was the perfect way to get to know her better and explain in person what we wanted for both our engagement and wedding photos. As people who aren’t generally comfortable in front of a camera, Joanna made us feel so comfortable while shooting and the photos came out better than we could have expected. On the wedding day, Joanna flew in to shoot our wedding, which wasn’t originally anticipated when we booked, but we truly appreciated how she made it work for our wedding. She was a dream to work, traveling to multiple locations throughout the day to shoot and capturing every photo we asked for. Going with Joanna over a team of photographers was one of the best decisions we made. It kept our wedding more intimate and relaxed for us and our guests without sacrificing quality or the range of photos. Overall, Joanna was flexible, organized, and collaborative. She quickly responded to all of our questions and kept in communication with us throughout the entire process.
